Eclipsed By A Modern World Poem by Matthew Holloway

Eclipsed By A Modern World

Rating: 5.0

Age is eclipsing me
The modern fashions
The modern music
The modern et all
Escapes me completely
It all seems to be a noise
A wasteful use of energy
Age is eclipsing me
And the world is presents
An ill fitting jigsaw
Out of place and time
Age does that to you
And someday, sometime
You will feel it
Eclipsed by a modern world
