Edge Of America Poem by Thomas Plotz

Edge Of America

Looking at the edge, of America, and
Smiling with joy

Wine in hand
Feeling fine and standing
On warm sand

Seeing water and migrating birds
No visa's needed for them, just translating
Hunting rules

It's a good view, from this side of the line,

That's been unseen
Awhile for me,
But until next time,

Shine on, Harsens Island,
Shine on - summertime
