Edible? Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Edible?

You may choose to fool yourself,
With overused semantics.
To recreate definitions as you wish.
With an appeal to appease.
Philosophies are just what they are...
Subjected to limitations.
Edible?
They are not!
But they can feed,
The minds of those...
Who choose to gather,
In preparation to debate.
And some may not have a taste for that.
To leave just as pleased.
