Effortlessly Poem by Dislocated Heart

Effortlessly

Effortlessly,
the scars disappeared along with her smile.
deep into my bones,
it's where it all goes to hide.
Carelessly,
I watch those scars rip open,
displaying my emotions,
in a stained white shirt,
that was so dementedly beautiful..
turned into something,
I must let go..
Recklessly,
hands that have stolen,
taken me for granted,
as I praised the demons,
with turmoil spilled upon my feet,
drowning within sin.
Stupidly,
I gave in,
danced the jesters moves,
joked as if my heart was intact,
a fool, I was..
while being torn,
limb by limb,
piece by piece,
in disregard,
left hanging 3 feet off the ground,
with nothing left to hide,
while the world shelters,
and buries the decaying filth,
which is left of me.

Effortlessly..
you've left me.
