Efforts Endeavored Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Efforts Endeavored

To know.
Is to know,
That which one has achieved.
With it at one time,
Heard to hear and told...
Could not be done.
To give it up.
Do something logical.
Forget the impossible.

This...
Should never be said,
To one on a mission.
Feeding a determination.
As if...
Fueled by negativity.
Providing incentive.
That challenges one,
With thoughts to succeed.

Becoming satisfied eventually,
With efforts endeavored.
Is all the success,
One needs to feel.
To know...
Like no one else,
What it has taken...
To begin a mission.
Listening to ignore others,
Embellishing wishes.
Done to do nothing more,
But explore visions...
Of imitating 'wanna bees'.

You know...
The ones who 'wanna be',
This and that.
While time they had passes.
Leaving them left feeding,
On the same B.S.
Hoping the sharing of it,
Others digest!
