Efforts With Endeavors Made Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Here it is,
The year 2020.
To witness its arrival.

And from 2008.
Adding eight more,
Plus almost four years after.
We live in the presence,
Of the ones claiming themselves to be...
Fiscal conservatives.
And creators of a greatness,
The likes of it the World has yet to see.
With a restoring back,
What the last administration...
Lacked in experience, competence or integrity.
So glad they were then,
To make America great again.
Although not to mention,
A lesser exposing of America's diversity.

And onward they went,
With their pretentious posturing to present...
That image of the greatest.
Without doubt in minds worldwide to leave.

Well...
Proud they must feel.
Their efforts with endeavors made,
Gave the image.
And never before,
Has delusion excluded the truth of reality.
People are left to expect and accept.
Without expressing regret to ignore,
A greatness that have hit...
The bottom to do it and done to do quick.
By those still claiming with blame to name,
Others to shame.
Hoping this distracts,
From their repeated acts of destruction!
Done with no one to doubt,
The effectiveness and its approval given.
