First brown leaves falling,
crisp air now the sun's set,
another light bulb gone.
They last for years,
go as the leaves fall;
perhaps they too feel old.
Everything has a set lifespan, and temperatures can indeed react and make the bulbs go 'bang'. I suppose it like 'duracell' batteries, some bulbs last longer than others. Great haikus. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
