Elegy For Love Poem by lucas shakespere

Elegy For Love

Deeper in the deepest part, where the
Heart of the past sat naked in the
caves of my heart
She came, torch-bearing and blithe
AS if the sun through a window in the
sky did
Beam and illuminate life, and field,
and forest,
And the heart of the soul of my heart,
Deeper than all the suffering was Polly,
Deeper than all the suffering was Polly,
Deeper than all the suffering was Polly,
Deeper than the deepest part.

Very true soul searching poetry Lucas, I loved it, but those three lines spoiled it for me a little, maybe once, but even then it didn't seem to have the same balance as the rest of the poem. It's yours though, not mine, and it is a very uplifting view of your heart, I loved the imagery of those first lines. I could really see the cave. 9 from ove to love Tai
