Elephants Trampling On Ants

Elephant marching to important occasion,
Ego of importance towering over all creatures of instinct,
Intentionally blind to the presence of the surrounding,
Destination in full view with intention of reaching it straight,
Despite the miniature lives lying on the road,
Nonentities in the mind of the well to do and rich,

The shrill sound of the victim,
Sound faint to the large ears of the elephant,
Large ears, loud sound,
Big feet, all minute creatures to give way,
Otherwise crushed mercilessly with no remorse,
One happened, the poor ant was crushed to nothing see,
Importance ego reign supreme in the mind of the elephant,
Concerned about dribbling out of the sorry state of affairs,
Notwithstanding the outcry for mercy,

Plea to the elephant to take responsibility for the mishap,
Met with arrogance and selfishness,
Sympathy flew out of the window,
When the ego petal blossomed out of control,
Causing me to throw away the tabloid in disgust!
