Emboldened Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Emboldened

Emboldened are those,
Who steal truth to deceive it.
And position themselves,
To represent values to have.
Based upon to view,
From materialistic visions.

People like this,
Become admired for what they possess.
Regardless of how it is gotten to get.
Or who is blindsided,
By their absence to express...
An effective connection to humanity.
As long as it is shown to be known,
An emboldened ego to present...
Represents an acceptance,
That meets the approval...
Of those equally thoughtless, mindless.
And self obsessed.
Living to have stolen,
Created realities to delude.
