Emboldened Nuts Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Emboldened Nuts

Homegrown and destructive.
Young and freshly cracked.
Emboldened nuts.
Groomed and taught,
To seek revenge.
Upon others who have no right,
To diminished their entitlements.
They perceive to believe,
Only to them given.

Permitted to distribute,
The freedom to release...
Their demented insecurities.
With intentions to implement,
Havoc upon others.
Who can not accept,
Them to be descendents...
Of deities they see,
Created in videos.
And depicted to describe,
On wide screen movies and home TVs.
Bleeding the dumbed down and young,
From any connection to humanity.

Spewed hatred, division and hypocrisies.
Can not these days be avoided.
When those who sit,
In positions of leadership.
Reveal their intentions to promote conflicts.
And easy it is to influence the youth.
With a describing their lives to live,
As being deprived of their God given rights.
Others also deserve.
But questionable are those,
More diversified in appearance.
Especially those who are nonwhite.
Perceiving they too,
Are equal.
