Emptiness
You are there, when my eyes are closed,
You exist in each of my heart beat
You are the only meaning of my life,
For you I'm ready to smile even on my defeat.
But you get lost when I open my eyes,
Tears flow like water from melting ice.
Searched for you in every corner,
Called your name several times...
But no voice responded- - just as before,
I could only hear the tinkling of wind chimes.
Feelings of void well expressed. When love becomes a one way traffic, such feelings overwhelm the yearning mind of the seeking, searching soul. I have a similar poem titled 'Life, A Void Circle'. You may like to read it and say a few words.
Let it go is the best way to welcome something better and new...
For you I'm ready to smile even on my defeat.................. heart rejoices by symphony onshore yet quest ruffles being bereft of sheen, quite passionate write,10+, keep on writing with more metaphors and imagery
