Count Dracula

Empty Paper - Poem by Count Dracula

My heart was like an empty paper,
Upon which I have written your name,
Mine heart was an empty hearth,
In which your love made its home,
I’m afraid of this dream breaking,
Because every night I see you with me in my dream,
My life was an empty mirror,
In which is now etched your image forever,
My thoughts are lost in you,
I have lost my sleep because of you,
I keep awake all night,
Thinking only of you,
I can blame no one,
I still like it, because of you,
If I do not see you even one day,
I cannot live in patience and loose my mind,
My heart has become my enemy,
Because it has made its alliance with you,
Before the flowers blossomed in this garden,
Before I set my eyes on you,
Before we fell in love with each other,
Where were these lovely nights hiding,
Where were these lovely thoughts hiding,
My heart was like a broken shooting star,
Now it shines like a moon in your heart,
My heart was like an empty paper,
Upon which I have written your name,
Mine heart was an empty hearth,
In which your love made its home.

    ........, without a doubt
    .........a lovesick Count

'My heart has become my enemy,
Because it has made its alliance with you,
I have lost my sleep because of you,
    I keep awake all night,
    Thinking only of you, '

a glass of sugar-free blood is the best antidote
