Encounters With The Impossible Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Encounters With The Impossible

I have enjoyed my encounters with the impossible.
And dreams to know them to come true.
I use to sit and wonder if,
My wants to wish...
Were my own foolish doings.
And I spent too much time with them to delude.
I have enjoyed my encounters with the impossible.
To know what it is I can with understanding do.
And if I choose to use my mind without limits.
Today it will be the impossible,
With thoughts like this I will first refuse.
To not excuse them but remove.
