When the night falls as a veil
Upon street, field and deserted dale
When shooting star burns in mid air
And owls feel agitated in the glare
I rush to meet you by the hedge
Where flowers bloom in colourful rage
When a lone star winks from high
A bunch of cloud begins maiden fly
When there appears a glare in horizon
Behind a leafy wall the moon lies hidden
I rush to meet you by the riverside
Where boats in gentle wind smoothly glide
When rabbits come out from burrows
Snakes lay coiled in drenched furrows
When colours are held tight in soft petals
Branches make sounds in close hustles
I rush to the place we planned to meet
Heart chanting your name with every beat
When waves rush in rows to kiss our feet
Tides crash against rocks and bleat
Boats glide past light house and vanish
Foams rise skyward, lose temper and perish
I rush to the place atop the grassy mound
To the place where our graves could be found
Thanks for sharing this sweet, romantic poem with wonderful rhyming. The title and the last two lines are complementary to each other and add poignancy to an otherwise sweet poem. Well done, my friend!

Last two lines looked out of place in a beautiful poem that reflects love in nature.
