End Of The Tunnel Poem by Dorsey Baker

we are in an awful fight
with that old corona
virus
and right now
it appears to
have the winning hand
one of the deadliest
bugs
known to man
we are fighting
with all we know
trying to make that
old corona
let go
but it ain't slowing
down
it just
keeps spreading around
killing the old
killing the young
the weak
the strong
right now
we don't have
the winning hand
but still we fight
hoping
that at the
end of the tunnel
there is
some light
