End Of Winter Poem by Dorsey Baker

End Of Winter

March come in
like a lion
the wind blowing
icy cold
groundhog said it was
almost spring
biggest lie
he ever told
got to get out my shovel
because the snow
is so very high
so many big snowflakes
falling from the sky
sometimes winter
just don't know when
to say goodbye
you really appreciate spring
when winter last so long
you just want to
see the flowers bloom
and hear
the robin sing his song!
