Endless Wars Poem by Ifeanyi John Nwokeabia

Endless Wars

As infantile bodies,
We are recruited,
With high risk training,
On mouth bombing & souls devouring.

No man made ammunition,
Can taste better in our hands,
So, we send wide fire on a victim,
Burning to ashes its total being.

In our vision of assassination,
Character is our major target,
Its destruction destroys its owner,
Remorse is not in our mission,
As we drink tears and smoke laughter.

Our wars are endless
For the annihilation of one,
Opens the door for another on queue,
And like a water cycle, it continues,
Until our lives are crushed too.
