Energy Within Contemplation Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Energy Within Contemplation

Whiling away time as oceans from within crash their waves
over and over as we sometimes stand back and watch them,
wondering if they ever tire of doing it.

Knowing that we as human beings do at times get tired of
doing the same thing day in and out, wanting to lie back,
relax and find energy inside of contemplation.

This is where we give up our anxieties, worries and prob-
lems to the universe, never wondering how they disappear,
not even caring as feelings and emotions are calmed.

Soothed and settled down into memories that finally lie
still and wait, reposing in daily duties that gives out
a silent blueprint of life.

One that will help entertain moments of gestation in
the beauty of life as it rests completely safe in God's
hands tonight.
