Enjoying Exotic Sights Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Enjoying Exotic Sights

Mind floating along rivers, through dense reeds and foliage,
enjoying exotic sights, feeling like being in another country
when all of a sudden colors come bubbling into view.

Flamingos capturing colors being shown, creatures not ordin-
arily seen, come peeking, eyes blinking at a ladybug crawling
along a leaf above the ground.

Seeming to wave at us while reaching for a better foothold,
scrambling to capture it's life while just beyond is a bar-
be-que cooking away.
