Entice Poem by Jesser Weaver

Entice

I'm searching and searching.
But really is it worth it?
Is it working?
I'm hoping one day I can find my purpose.

Behind the smile... is a frown that could be seen from a mile.
I said 'please don't leave me, would you mind staying for a while? '
If you were to vanish like hocus pocus.
I would lose my vision and never ever be focused.

I need you to hold my hand......show me the right path.
To expose my virgin eyes to the things
......that I've never seen or had.
My love for you can stretch a million miles long.
Because even though in the outside I'm happy.
You always know when something's wrong.

Trying to survive these young years are my only fight.
Actually....
my real fights include:
trying to stay focused on all these lonely nights.
When there's no one in sight.

My prayer is whispered.
But I know you can hear it.
Even though your not here physically.
I can feel your warm spirit.

Your all that I have....
but actually....your all that I need.
You truly are my addiction.
Like a pothead loves his weed.

I'm here to serve you.
For I...will never leave you.
Be by my side through the hardest times.
.....my goal is to please you.

Ive noticed true Love on earth.....
most of the times.....is a myth.
But I'm not searching for that.
I'm in a scavenger hunt to find my special gift.
That you've blessed me with.

I follow your every sentence.
Your every spoken word.
Because I don't want to end up being....
Stuck at the end of a broken road.

I know at times I act out of line....
....but please excuse my behavior.
Please pardon my ignorance.....
....can you do me that favor?

You entice my senses.....
when I hear your name......like my favorite flavor.
You are my only.
my one.
my holy father.
my angel.
my lord, my savior.
