Episode 12: Cricket as theme in my Sexaholic Shopaholic Workaholic series

I have been coming up with debatable arguments
And I said Substance vs. Sacrilege in terms of policy decisions
Would be PM Justin Trudeau vs. Premier Doug Ford
And Glamour vs. Glitz or Greatness vs. Grandeur in terms of personality
Would be PM Trudeau vs. President Trump;

I arrive at the threshold of Content vs. Culture
And the obvious example would be pop music
It is popular because of the culture it encourages
And it is the same with rap music also;

I make a diving catch and jump to cricket
Which in India and other countries, wins on both counts
People like my husband and son would argue
In cricket also, players make buckets or baskets
But it takes a day or 5 days to keep track of these winning signs, I say
And in terms of culture, it is the ultimate (with all due respects to you, Ms. Shantha Rangaswami deceased)guy sport
Despite nude women careening onto the sports field and ruining the players' concentration;

Women love cricket and it can said to be the critical bracket that one belongs to
For it is a gentlemen's sport
And I know there has been match fixing but
It is full of content promoting culture;

The Sexaholic in me mometarily wished to go back in time
And play at Silly Mid-on
For we have been at Silly Mid-off for a long time
But let us say that I shall be diplomatic and not
Refer to the Midwicket position you left me in
Many a time but did take me to Fine Leg a few times
But dear husband, I made a catch twice at Midwicket
And once it was a World Cup match win
But its me in the batting position or in the fielding position
Let us look at me in the bowling position and yourself in the batting position
Many a time, my dear husband, you scored a century and
Stopped short of a century;

But having a son who is grown up makes it nice and pat
For the Shopaholic in me to wants to dance down the pitch
And enjoy shopping but I have to practise economy
For there has been a one woman game played and there is evidence of
Batting collapses in terms of making money
Although it has been centuries also being scored
And I shall buy a Clinique moisturizer for it comes with a gift
And buy Bernard Shaw's play, Of marriage and men,
And practise some swing bowling and play some forward drives,
Have a good time, a swinging good time;

There is a Workaholic in me who
Would love to bake a cake and decorate it with the batsman and the bowler
And a fielder at Deep Point who would represent my son
And I must say I have sculpted a piece,
Home plate advantage in baseball
But Advantage: Batting pitch in cricket
And with it, I managed 6's and 4's and stayed at Not out.
