On Eternity and Time,
Thomas Aquinas,
writes in his
Summa Theologica
following Aristotle.
Heargues that time
is the measurement
of created and human
life in its movement,
while eternity is
the measurement
of God‘s being.
For eternity is
the measure of a
permanent being,
while time is the
measure of movement.
