*evaporation Poem by Christopher's Dead

*evaporation

Rating: 5.0

Over the hills and far away you are from me
I take it now that we won't sleep
In each other's arms sweetly embraced in time
Frozen between life is longer now
That you won't be here next to me

Could this evaporation lighten what I
Keep within my estranged wandering
Around a misconstrued fascination
With romantic notions
And mutual pain run with me

I don't perceive a future between you and me
But when we touch I know you feel something
Is this fake?
Or is this fate?
What I would do to know
Why couldn't you want to be with me?

Sweet crests of light that bloom in your eyes and entice mine
What seamless indiscriminant fires that burn longer
Only for me, I do have a yearning
Keeping me honest and shaking my breaths are quicker
For the next time we're aligned
