Evening Promises Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Evening Promises

Focusing on twilight, every moment listening to sounds,
straining to hear their melodies over thunder and
lightening.

Streaks carousing and electrically shooting across the
sky, leaving reminders all over the heavens.

Letting everyone know that evening holds all promises in
darkened light until it comes to fruition.
