Everlasting Love Poem by Sandra Feldman

Everlasting Love

Rating: 5.0

I have wandered,
Thru the Valley of Darkness,
Without hope, without you,
And the bitter thorns
Of the road are within me,
Painfully present,
One does not forget Love,
One cannot forget Love,
It's ever present,
Even if it's shadow,
Has been cast temporarily,
Upon the waters of oblivion,
Placed deeply into the subconscious,
The feeling remains alive and the same,
Love, is not only remembering a name.

Agreed. True love transcends just words or a temporary lapse. True love always rises to the top. To not have your loved one is one of the most painful experiences on earth no matter how short a period. Great write Sandra. I loved it.
