Every Day They Announce

Rating: 5.0

When I was very young
every other day they'd say

Charlie has a sweet daughter
Billy has twins

in later years they'd said
Dolly is getting married

Tom divorced
already
his wife fled to Pars
infidel she

in later years they said
Shane has grand daughters
and

Peron married off
his grand son

but now
but now
as I near the river's edge
some one comes running to tell

Shone don't be in a hurry
they are about to your sister bury

the next day some one comes crying
Johnny is dead
he is in the mortuary
car accident with pals

ever day a sadder story

some one will soon whisper in my ear
PPME
you are no more
...
now shed a tear

Well we have to face the
LORD
here or there
where ever he be

he'll call for no more sadness
disaster is now full in store
I am not going out of home
any more

COVID19 IS HUNGRY

lest they ask me

who you

they are about to your sister bury.... beautiful hyperbation. Sorry sir what you wrote is write.... But the author is different so conceptualizing other view might apper uncertain But surely life is no accident but a planned execution without which no one make exit... This gave me a new idea to Penn a poem on life is an accident or not.

Lovely poem. Hide and write a poem. Its the safest thing to do. I love the build up to Covid climax and how we shall tell you you are dead when and if you do die. Thats poesy. Thanks for sharing and dont die. Be safe. Sanitize.
