Every Gamble Chanced Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Every Gamble Chanced

Every gamble chanced,
Is a risk taken.
The only thing believed,
To have been guaranteed...
Was a yesterday one can say,
They lived to validate.
Whether a risk to chance,
Enriched to benefit or not...
No one plays it safe,
To eliminate mistakes made.
Or find there is a safe place,
Where excuses made...
Are found erased from memory.
