Everything Is Something Poem by Alicia Meyers

Everything Is Something

I'm a flameless fire,
A butterfly without wings,
I'm a vehical without tires,
Saturn without it's rings.

I'm a spine without a back,
A house without windows,
I'm a train without a track,
After rain there is no rainbow.

Living without things that I need,
Is hard to live without,
Like a flower that can't be bloomed without a seed,
Is like living with doubt.

I'm nothing without a fire,
Not an animal without wings,
I'm not a car without tires,
Or a planet without it's rings.

I can't be a spine without a back,
A house without windows,
A train without a track,
Or a rainless day without a rainbow.

Everything or everyone is something,
No matter big or small,
If you look closely,
They become wide and tall.
