A whale in the seas
Had boney maroney knees,
But he glided along
Hearing a morning song...
Coming from the beach
That he couldn't quite reach.
He tried a million years
Despite Cetacean jeers!
But his little, bitty son
Definitively won...
Flippered with alacrity...
Day after year with tenacity.
One dawn, a goodly thrust
Sent this younster, with crust!
Up on the beach...loud elation!
'Come on pop! You'll like
Being a
Crustacean!
And thus came Dr Seuss! By keeping it whimsically simple you make it work... Rgds, Ivan
Love it Elysabeth! ! Being a crabby crustacean I can go with that.... Great work! HG: -) xx

Enjoyed this poem very much. Very easily read, sings along with a sense of humor. I can hear the ocean splashing (clapping) .
