Ex Is X Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Ex Is X

Ex is X

X, for long, has been, is, a letter
To replace unknown, or dangerous.

Now to me, Ex is X
Know nothing about her.

Though near, long has passed,
From when saw her last.

Were married for decades,
She became the mother
To our kids, children.

I was across borders,
Far too far, far away,
Lonely kids, curious,
I believe had asked her,
About us, love, parents,
Marriage and themselves.

Perfect in childishness,
Hardly uses knowledge,
As do the pets, obeys,
Life in cage, laying eggs,
Following the seen, heard!

This causes damages!

To tell kids stories,
Just copied a bad witch,
That shameless divorcee.

I heard them, they burned me,
Like a torch or wick in kerosene,
A virgin white igloo kept melting.

She was fooled, is simple,
I know she had not meant,
Therefore, have forgiven,
Both in heart and brain,
But going back to her?
