On the treadmill, I exercise
Which I place toward the western sky
Where I can see birds flying by
And many tree shades of sunrise.
Now, midmorning of wintertime
I don't see birds in the window sky
But many long shades of tall pines
And my outside cats roaming by.
On the treadmill, I walk to exercise
To keep healthy my body and mind.
I have done this so many times
With cloud animals in the sky.
I walk enough till I perspire
And my heart and lungs energized.
I walk off the treadmill with a smile
I feel healthy in body and mind.
