Excess Of - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Excess of

It makes person lame
Who later on blames
Parents or circumstances
That he was not provided with chance

Many blame it on upkeep
Many people just sleep
Because they have enough
And remain throughout rough

More support makes you dependant
And tends to make you adamant
You remain proud for treasure that is available
And this only because cause for trouble

Parent must leave behind little short
So he does not resort
And adopt evil ways
And comfortably stay

So excess of everything is bad
It is often said
We pay little attention
But it has capacity to add tension
