Existence - Poem by Ebone' Ingram

Am I dead?
Am I alive?
I don't know.
All I know...
is that you and I
were beautiful.
That one week...was a dream,
And I didn't want to wake.
You made me feel
As if I had a soul
reborn from the broken pieces.
So...am I dead or alive?
All I can say is...
When I was with you
And you with me...
I...Was.
