Eyes Poem by David Harris

Eyes

Rating: 5.0

Sometimes our eyes deceive us,
seeing thing that are not there.
They cloud our mind with illusions
of what we want to see.
Even our heart can be fooled
by love it really wants,
and sees love in someone
where love shouldn’t be.
Broken hearts are littered
on the landscape of our eyes,
where they have deceived us
with a love full of lies.

Love lives on and many lay fallen at its way-side, I just hope that we continue to aim for its resolution Love duncan X
