The sun came out in fairy
wings and toffee sweetness,
golden and shiny begging me
to lick it up; in one corner
of the round dome of the sky,
covered with greyish clouds
tinged with rosy colours,
against the most beautiful
blue where the cloud cover
parted – cold purplish hue –
to let the bright background
shine through –
the sun finally sinking
in a fiery red light
against the horizon;
oh, how I love it!
A beautiful sight, painted in delightful hues. Superb, Margaret. Love, Fran xxx
Fairy wings and toffee sweetness and the most beautiful blue - in all sweet.
