Face Reflects Heart Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Face Reflects Heart

Rating: 5.0

My leaden heart's sorrow reflects in my face
as you blew our love off without pity.
You're not innocent for me to chase;
for the shocks given me you don't feel guilty.

For each and every simple thing, you grizzle;
as your mind is playful, your grief won't last long.
For the wounds made, healing words you don't drizzle
and hie to the next flower humming a song.

I don't worry even for the Covid-19's sting
as God won't nod my life reaching a mean end.
Hit my heart badly each word you sling;
my fear is, no one's advice can your mind mend.

I take pains to sing songs of worth to make you blithe
For your hate I enshrine you in songs bereft of death.

If there is sorrow within mind and sorrow within heart, this sorrow is of course reflected in face. For each and every simple thing mind realizes. At present COVID-19 is threatening the world and all are suffering. We should be careful to feel the truth. We should fight with this virus and expel. Our prayer before God we offer to save us. This is an amazing and brilliant poem very well penned...10
