Fading Sky Poem by Deep Mukherjee

Fading Sky

Rating: 4.5

Crimson flames of fire
Amid the azure sky;
Like extinct volcanoes
Waiting to erupt for ages
This aching heart in need of relief!
This encaged mind in need of freedom! !
Do hopes die!
In the fathome of desires?
In crimson flames of fire! !
Ocean of tears subdued
But rainbow doesn't show up!
Clouds return with a vengeance
With a scarlet tone of deceit
Amid veiled melancholy;
The sky's blue no more
Pale and gray with shadow of gloom
In distinct wait of a sunrise;
Strange how colors change!
A delusional delirium!
An eluding enigma -
This beautiful life;
This painful life............
