Fairytale Ending Poem by Tracey Owens

Fairytale Ending

Hidden within the darkness of the trees,
Stood my prince to be.
His handsome face and bright smile
Caught my attention instantly.
He introduced himself, as so did I.
He was on a quest to find the perfect
Girl, but had not found her yet.
The search had been endless
And it had brought him to the
Very woods I was standing in.
He told me of his adventure
And all that he had seen.
His laugh was an great sound,
His voice was soft.
He carried himself well
And knew what he was after.
After what seemed like a few
Hours, he left to continue his search.
The next morning I returned to the
Woods and he was also there.
He told me after talking to me,
He knew that I was the girl for him.
