Faith Is The Key (4-24-20; 12: 00am) Poem by Maymay Marie

When my mind is surrounded by unpleasant smells and sights,
I may run away and in chaos scene I trap to reply the calls,
Or I may choose to pray inwardly, calling God to be my Protector in towering debts and needs,
Slowly, my pace began to alter in a placidly mode and boldness stature sails.
Faith is a journey that is tested every now and then,
Sometimes, a sickness comes unaware, and in pain,
Bullying you to be coward, weak, defeated, useless and cannot win,
But you see, God knows it before you experience the pain.
That moment is a trap for you to wander without the key to say,
So you cannot enter to a chamber with the One who holds the way,
Faith is a journey to face the blues and to pay,
Numbers, trips, papers, unfinished toils, all may.
A clock is a need to talk of mantra to hold the faith,
"I am a child of God, " "I am a child of God, " I saith,
Whether I am ready to be served by baggage cross, honesty, or myth,
That key in a journey is only faith.
Now, I cannot go to sleep, my thoughts are here to cope,
Working for my faith to loop,
It is the secret to a rocky and rough journey troop,
Faith is the key to face the waves and blues rope.
