Do you ever have that dream,
The one in which you're falling.
For some that is no dream,
But a hobby so enthralling...
Sky-diving is a sport I love,
The more dangerous the better.
I carry no death-wish when I dive,
Merely a next of kin letter.
So quick to reach terminal velocity.
Breathless I plummet to the ground.
Chancing if my chute will open,
Protecting me so safe and sound.
It opens and I drift earth-bound,
Prospecting the world far below me.
I'm like a tiny falling autumn leaf,
So totally at peace and feeling free.
So if you get the opportunity,
Maybe consider taking a jump or two.
For this life is truly worth living,
With it's beautiful vista for all to view.
