'Falling Away' Poem by Linda Winchell

'Falling Away'

Layer upon layer…of myself
Is peeling fast away.
Falling to the earth below
Mixing with sand and clay.

Stretching to a new length of existence
Of once all my…” Never Mores”
Brilliance of re-birthing star now formed
Then has ever…shinned or been seen before.

With high celestial matter
Revelations predicted doom.
Falling away...now one layer at a time
Unfolding like a new flowers petals bloom.
