Falling Forever Poem by Ramona Thompson

Falling Forever

Known each other
So short a time
Yet I feel this feeling
Like I've been loving you
My whole lifetime
Now I have to ask myself
Could this be?
Could I be falling in love?
Could I be falling forever?
Falling forever for you

I need to know
Before I let myself go
If this feeling that I'm feeling
Is for real
If you and me is meant to last
Or if we're just another temporary thing
So many people tellin' me who to be
What to feel
Leaves me so torn
Don't know
How will I know?
If I'm really falling for you
Here tonight

Wanna be with you
Oh baby
So bad
But for how long
I just don't know
Words alone in a song cannot seem to express
My heart's desire for you
The man of all my hopes and dreams
Tell me
If you think
You might just feel me up the same
Falling forever

Promises made
Kisses so sweet exchanged
Giving in to something
We've never felt before
Between man and woman
Something has grown
Something bold, new, and just a bit frightening
Yet only time will tell
If we truely got
Got what it takes
To last forever and a lifetime
