Falling Sun - Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

To pull darkness away falls sun,
Shadow behind object does run.
Spreads garlands of rays in East,
In lap of sky in cheer dances mist.

Obeys the command of God time,
Sun is the symbol of super prime.
Ever does duty remains in track,
Moves so fast cloud does crack.

Sun rays fall every part of Earth,
Child watches shiny sun on birth.
Sun absorbs clear water from all,
From dust to mud rays do fall.

Likewise values we should learn,
Patience, peace and bliss do earn.
Knowledge is the basis of a mind,
Sun rays don't alter even in wind.

God has created sun to do light,
Following God's law sun is bright.
Ever obeys and falls sun on us,
God teaches souls morality thus.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

In poem ‘Falling Sun' poet emphasizes on the good qualities of sun and to follow it. Falling Sun means the rays fall from sun. These rays remove the darkness. Shadow follows behind the object. Sun rays spread all where in East and the mist disappears. Sun always obeys the command of God and rises in time. In a particular track it performs its duties. It makes the clouds rainfall. Sun rays fall everywhere of Earth. A new born child first sees the shiny sun and feels gladness. Sun absorbs clean water from dust and mud. So also we should imbibe the spiritual qualities like patience, peace, bliss, nonviolence, etc. We should learn values and should strengthen the knowledge in such way that no evil can do harm like the wind can't harm to sun's rays. God, the supreme, has created sun to provide light. Sun obeys God's law and becomes bright. So also, if we, the souls, will be moral God blesses us. This is the theme of the poem and is written in Deogarh, Odisha, India on this day of 14th October,2014. It is dedicated to the people of the world.

Stressing the faithful qualities of the sun - a tool in God's hand. Qualities that are beneficial to humanity. And we too should strive to be faithful. (Report)Reply
