Farce Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Farce

The soldiers of the two hostile nations
Assemble in the border
And let the white pigeons fly high in the sky
To commemorate peace and serenity between the two countries.
Yonder a wise vagabond watches everything meticulously and then bursts into laughter,
He knows the truth in his heart better than anyone else,
He mutters aside in utter disgust,
"This is an absolute farce."
