Farm Life Poem by Darwin Henry Beuning

Farm Life

Rating: 5.0

One of the first jokes I heard as a lad,
Growing up on a Minnesota dairy farm -

What did the plow say to the tractor?

Answer:

"Pull me closer John Deere"

A fond memory.

Funny farm jokes are few and far between, aren't they? I, too, grew up on a farm, but at the moment I can't recall ANY jokes from that time. All I can recall is work, work, work!
