Humanity's common-most heritage,
Helping a hardened head with heart to mesh,
Spiritual prayer and pilgrimage,
Fasting, the mind and body to refresh,
Invigorating men with inner grit,
Fasting to restore, tired gets when spirit.
Hungry maws all our awareness command,
But mind material things seems to hanker,
So is the soul in spiritual hunger,
But all welfare of man to maw-ward wind,
A rotund man more of problems create,
Than hungry, as does a river in spate.
Fasting flesh seems to reign in craving mind,
And the soul goodly nourishment does find.

A wonderful informative sonnet carrying spiritual vibes! I find all your poems are precious with impact and influence! I wonder many of your worthy works have not yet found readership! Whatever may be the case, I personally learn a lot from your beautiful creations sir! Full marks
Further, I marvel at your selection of poems for comments. Any criterion? One more thing, as you seem to know how Poem Hunter works, I find that some poems of mine are marked with 'Reviewed', what does it signify?
One appreciating reader that knows is far better than many that often say what they say for the sake of saying. Thank you so dear Dr Swain.
