Father's Day Poem by Shaun Cronick

Father's Day

Rating: 5.0

In the middle of glorious June,
There's a special day set aside.
A day when dads all over the world,
Are gazed on with joy and pride

All year long dad is a super man,
A teacher who knows everything.
But isn't it good on this special day,
To let him hear the praises we sing.

He provides for our wants with no thought of his own,
He guides us when we stray.
He protects us from harm along life's path,
So lets thank dad on his special day.

He teaches us how to play the game,
To help others in need.
To play for the team and not ourselves,
A wonderful, workable creed.

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
His comforting arms enfold us.
He has a pat on the back for a job well done,
And his love even when he must scold us.

So lets give a hand to all the dads,
God gives to us only one.
So cherish him and thank him with love,
For the wonderful job he has done.
