Faults Of Love Poem by Jalyn Jones

She flows like a river through
my mind yet, she never stays
current. I ask myself why; then
question why this question I ask
cannot be answered.

I try to reason with her only to
realize that she is beautiful
beyond reason. I try to escape,
knowing that my memory will follow
me forever in my shadow.

So my answer?

Love cannot be answered. Love cannot
be reasoned with. Love cannot be
escaped.
