Fear Poem by Linda Engwall

Fear

Rating: 5.0

It moves us to question our every thought
Leaves us weak
When we should be strong

Under minds our confidence
Knees buckle
Stepping back from it

Yet we still move towards it
And find our self
Cowarding in the corner

Afraid
Ashamed
For allowing IT
To control

We must walk with it
When we have to face our demons
Make it our friend
Bring it along, hand in hand through the night

Struggling will always happens between fear and love
Fear winning out more often than not
Easier to be drawn to the dark side
Than to the light

Make peace with the fear inside
Walking right on by, push pass the desire to run
The only way over there is through it

So breath, walk
With your friend fear,
To the other side is always

LOVE
